Carla holds an MBA from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business. Before becoming a market researcher, she still brought numbers to their knees as an architectural engineer, applying her Architectural Engineering degree to technical parts of the lighting industry.

In her spare time, Carla enjoys fabric arts, such as making rugs and decorative art, reading more than her husband would like, hiking and biking the trails near her home, and kayaking when the weather allows.

Eric is detail-oriented via the application of two engineering degrees to the analysis and specification of technical products to the construction industry for 25 years. He has been following the natural product industry for the past decade, has attended three Expo West shows, and is starting beginning to apply his analytical skills to support the clients of Ooyen Research.

In his spare time, Eric rides one of his multiple bikes as much as possible, and blasts through New York Times crosswords.
